Web Accessibility 102: Creating Accessible Pages
How to make pages, images, and videos more accessible for all visitors.
Recommended Pre-req: Web Accessibility 101
In this session, the Global Digital Content Team conducted a live walk-through of example pages on nature.org to identify where and how to make them more accessible for people with disabilities. These changes also help contribute to SEO. This course builds upon the digital content best practices authors already know to further improve our pages’ user experience and performance. Specifically, the course covers:
- optimizing images and videos
- page properties
- titles and subtitles
- how making your content more accessible will improve the experience for all
The session is designed for authors and publishers of TNC pages. It was led by Lindsay Mineo, SEO Marketing Specialist, and Lane Horter, Digital Producer, and recorded on January 29th, 2021.
